How to measure your child size is simple.

PLEASE NOTE: These dress measurements are in Cms and inches.

When taking your little girl's measurements, make sure she's standing bare feet, back straight, head looking up, against a flat surface, a wall would be the best place for this. With a pencil mark the top of her head, so now you have her actual height. Once you have done this, stand her forward a little bit and then measure her around the Shoulder width, chest, waist, shoulder to knee, belly button to knee and if you are having a train, shoulder to floor or where you would like the train to finish. Please remember to keep 2 fingers from the tape measure to the body. 

 

HEIGHT: In CMS: Stand straight with feet together, measure in bare feet, begin at the top of the head and pull the tape measure straight down to the floor.  

SHOULDER WIDTH: In CMS: Measure from one end of the shoulder to the other shoulder putting the measurement tape across their back.

CHEST: In CMS: Relax arms down to the side, from 1 ½ inches underneath the armpit, measure all around the fullest part of the chest. Please keep 2 fingers from tape measure to the body.

WAIST: In CMS: Find the smallest part of the waist (on the belly button) and keep the tape measure loose to allow breathing room. Please keep 2 fingers from the tape measure to the body.

SHOULDER TO KNEE: In CMS: Measure from the top of the shoulder to where the bottom of the dress should fall.

BELLY BUTTON TO KNEE In CMS: Measure from the center of the belly button to the knee and where you would like hemline. 

SHOULDER TO BELLY BUTTON: In CMS: Measure from the top of the shoulder (end) to the middle of her belly button.

DRESSES WITH TRAINS -  Waist/ Belly button to where you would like your train to finish: In CMS - Measure from the top of the waist to where you would like the train to finish.

Created from the finest ivory bridal satin, this exquisite design features a beautifully structured bodice with a traditional Peter Pan pearl embellished collar and delicate puff cuff sleeves, forming a silhouette that feels both nostalgic and effortlessly graceful.

The skirt falls into a soft high–low hemline, offering gentle movement and modern charm. At the back, a romantic heart-shaped opening is finished with a row of pearl bridal buttons and our signature Little London Lady bow,  an unmistakable couture detail.

Lovingly crafted by skilled artisan seamstresses, The Rosie Dress is designed as an heirloom piece, created to be treasured for years to come and passed down through generations.

Couture Availability

To maintain the exceptional level of craftsmanship that defines Little London Lady, we create only 20 couture dresses each month.

Once our monthly studio schedule is full, we are unable to accept further orders and may need to decline additional requests until availability reopens.

 

Turnaround Time

 Our typical creation time for couture dresses is 6–8 weeks.

 During peak months (January–September), availability fills quickly.

We strongly recommend placing your order well in advance, including your event date, to avoid disappointment.

Each Rosie Dress is made to order and individually crafted by our artisan seamstresses.

For bespoke alterations or personalised design requests, we invite you to book a design or fitting appointment with our atelier.

 

 

Little London Lady dresses should be hung up immediately upon arrival to help any wrinkles fall from the fabric. Fluff up the skirt layer by layer for maximum volume, and if needed gently spot clean the tulle and steam. Do not dry clean or tumble dry.

Many of our wonderful dresses have lovely embellishments, please don’t leave your little lady unattended due to the choking hazard associated.
